A kitchen with a story to tell
La Pizza & Pasta was born in the heart of East Ham, London — one of the most vibrant, diverse, and community-driven corners of the city. It started simply: a love for food that brings people together, and a belief that Italian classics, done properly, should be available to everyone.
From our kitchen on Barking Road, we set out to prove that you don't have to travel to Naples or Rome to eat something extraordinary. All you need is good ingredients, a little patience, and a genuine passion for the craft.
"We didn't want to be just another takeaway. We wanted to be the place our community craved on a Friday night, a birthday, a cold Tuesday when nothing else would do."
What started as a local favourite quickly grew. Word spread — through the neighbourhood, across social media, and eventually across the country. Today, through our Shopify store, we bring the same food we make for our East Ham regulars to doorsteps all across the UK.
